Yesterday was a very interesting day for adult club owners in the Tampa Bay area. Approximately 70 of the top club owners and general managers met at the Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel to attend a meeting put on by COAST (Club Operators Against Sex Trafficking). To say it was an eye-opening meeting would be an understatement!

You don’t think that sex trafficking happens here in Tampa Bay … it’s just something you see in movie theaters, television programs and read about it happening in New York City or Los Angeles. That simply isn’t the case as we listened to an audio of how a girl was beat, raped and mistreated right here in Pinellas County. We also saw photos and told about a man named Andrew Fields who was convicted for abusing over 40 girls right here in Tampa Bay. This is real and happening right here in Tampa Bay.

Angelina Spencer from ACE along with Jim and Don Kleinhans from 2001 Odyssey hosted the event. Special agent Bill Williger from Homeland Security spoke to the crowd and opened many eyes. Mr. Williger has been a special agent for seven years and explained the difference between smuggling and trafficking … stated that Homeland Security welcomes the adult entertainment industry as partners combating sex trafficking and handed out warning cards to give to all managers/door people/DJ’s and posters to hang in clubs. He said he and his task force works 7/24/365 and if you know of any girl or child that needs assistance call 1-866-347-2423 anytime. If you think there is any possibility of human trafficking in your business, please don’t turn your head. Make a call that could save  person’s life. Even if you are wrong … a telephone call can’t hurt. NightMoves would like to thank Angelina Spencer, 2001 Odyssey, Agent Bill Williger and his task force for bringing this serious matter to the attention of all club owners in Tampa Bay. Together we can stop this from happening.
