The NCAA basketball championship will be played tonight with two surprising teams battling for the title. The Kentucky Wildcats (seeded 8th) and the Connecticut Huskies (seeded 7th) will play at 9:00pm in Arlington, Texas. Neither team made the tournament last year and the game features the two lowest seeds ever to play for the title. Here’s another interesting tidbit … UConn’s ladies team is also playing for the national championship. They play Notre Dame tomorrow night for the NCAA ladies title. It is the second time that one school had their male and female teams play for championships the same year. The last time? UConn did it in 2001!

A Roman Catholic priest touched off a controversy in Poland after he said toys like LEGO Monster Fighters are tools of Satan that lead children to the “dark side”. Rev. Slawomir Kostrzewa is urging parents to throw away the LEGO series along with Mattel’s “Monster High” toys. Just another example of the stupidity that runs through the Roman Catholic Church!
