The Florida House of Representatives approved a bill that would let teachers carry a firearm while in school. The 71-44 vote lets school leaders designate certain employees to carry concealed weapons on campus. Employees would have to have a concealed weapons license or either military or law enforcement experience. Of course, the NRA was in full support of the bill.

Just because you have famous clients doesn’t mean you’re a good guy. Just ask Max Clifford who is Britain’s best-known celebrity publicist. Clifford was found guilty of eight charges of indecent assault including offenses against females as young as 15. Clifford, 71, whose celebrity clients include TV mogul Simon Cowell, Muhammad Ali and OJ Simpson would lure young girls into sex by offering them acting roles. He will be sentenced this Friday.

The Florida Senate voted 35-3 to allow a limited strain of medical cannabis to be legalized in the state. The chamber immediately sent the bill to the Florida House where it will be debated. The cannabis extract is used to fight epileptic seizures. The strain is a very low THC product that is delivered through an oil underneath the tongue and is a far cry from marijuana that is smoked.

Paul Simon (72) and his wife Edie Brickell (47) were arrested on disorderly conduct charges after a family dispute. Both were given misdemeanor summons when police responded to a 911 call that came from their home in New Canaan, Connecticut. They have been married since 1992 and have three children together. I guess there is a “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” !

Last but not least … Strong storms continue to pound the interior of the USA. Twisters in Mississippi and Alabama killed nine people and more bad weather is expected today …. Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor is officially engaged. George Clooney is getting hitched to English attorney Amal Alamuddin …. Toyota is moving its US headquarters from California to Texas to improve communication between units throughout America …. Have a wonderful Tuesday !!
