Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney attraction “It’s A Small World”. the ride features a song that everybody loves to hate and once it gets into your mind, you can’t get it out! Over 1-billion people have taken the 12-15 minute ride that features 472 animated and unanimated figures that represent 7 continents. The song was debuted at the 1964 World’s Fair and featured a global sing-a-long that happened this morning at 8:30am EDT in front of The Magic Kingdom castle.

The greatest golf tournament in the world started this morning … the 78th Masters Tournament is played in Augusta, Georgia and features the winner putting on the symbolic  ”green jacket”. This year’s Masters has a record 24 first-time participants but will not have Tiger Woods who is out due to back surgery. Last year’s winner was Adam Scott who will be back to defend his title.

Ok … These guys get the “Stupid Award” for the week! Two burglary suspects were arrested after one of them accidently “butt dialed” 911 on his cell phone and left the line open as they were discussing their crime. Police in Maplewood, MN say the 911 dispatcher overheard the conversation, called police and the two idiots were arrested in the middle of the heist!

If you own a Toyota there’s a good chance your car has a recall. Toyota recalled 1.8-million vehicles in the USA yesterday and over 6-million worldwide for various safety problems. The Japanese automaker will lose millions in the recalls but say safety comes first. The recall also includes Pontiac Vibe models because Toyota designed and engineered the car for General Motors.

Last but not least …. A pink eye outbreak in American Samoa has forced the closing of most schools. The outbreak has affected over 2,300 students and over 30% of all teachers …. Worldwide shipments of PC’s fell during the first three months of the year. It was the 8th straight quarter of declines. Analysts say things should pick up because Microsoft just retired its Windows XP operating systems and people will need to purchase replacement units …. Bank of America is being forced to pay $772-million in fines and refunds due tom the fact they fucked customers for credit monitoring and reporting services …. have a great Thursday everybody!
