Here’s a date that all of you will want to circle on your social calendar. May 24 will be the day that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will get married! People Magazine broke the story and said that it will be an intimate affair with only around 150 guests. The pair got engaged last October in a proposal that included a stadium, an orchestra and a giant diamond. Somehow I think that 150 wedding invites could be “just a tad” low! I will be checking my mailbox everyday for my invite … how about you?

I don’t know how in the hell weather forecasters can tell us what’s going to happen months from know but they are saying the “El Nino” effect will hinder the formation of hurricanes this summer. El Nino occurs when warm surface waters from the western Pacific Ocean are pushed to the eastern Pacific. The warmer waters cause upper-atmospheric storms with shearing winds that thwart hurricane formation all the way into the Atlantic Ocean. I don’t know how they do it but I sure hope they are right! The Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30.

Kelsey Grammer is 59-years old and is expecting his sixth child with his second wife Kayte Walsh. Grammer (The star of the television series Frasier) also has kids aged 30, 22, 12 and 9 … plus a 2-year-old grandson with his first wife. That means his grandson will be older than his new baby! The couple all ready has a 19-month old baby together. Come on Kelsey, when is enough, enough?

If you want to see something pretty cool check out Time magazine’s website and see an interactive photo taken from the spire of the nearly completed World Trade Center tower. It shows 360-degree views of New York City that can be zoomed in and out. You can see the Statue of Liberty close-up and zoom in tight on the cityscape!

Last but not least … 323,000 people received unemployment benefits last week and that’s the lowest level in three months … Texas passed tougher abortion  laws and clinics are being closed across the state with more than half closed since 2011 … Due to timing mistakes and overall costs, the City of St.Petersburg, FL has pulled all of the red-light cameras that were installed around the city … This week’s NASCAR Race takes place in Phoenix, AZ … the PGA Tour is in South Florida at Doral Country Club … Remember to “Spring Ahead” and turn your clocks forward Saturday night! … Have a wonderful weekend!
