The battle for legal medical marijuana will start hitting the Florida airways in force later this month. The issue will be on the state ballot this fall and look for current Republican Governor Rick Scott and his rival Democrat Charlie Crist to talk about the legalization in numerous ads. A survey last month stated that 64% to 70% of Floridians support the bill. The tough part is that it takes a 60% voter approval to pass a constitutional amendment here in the Sunshine State. Look for attorney John Morgan (who employs Crist and spends $20-million annually on television ads) to help push the legalization.
